Let it snow in Huntsville this week!
Ok, I'm done.
Out of our pets, Kiltie would be the only happy one she LOVES to play in snow almost as much as I do. The cats, however, would kill us in our sleep if we dropped them in a big poof of snow (although that cat chasing fish in the frozen pond was pretty funny).
PLEASE SNOW!!
Recent Highlights:
1) Feeling mostly human again, although I still feel worn out. Dang it all.
2) Having da Hubs tell me I should a) write a book b) suggest a cute/funny idea that was along the lines of something I had toyed with doing c) the fact that he believes in me enough to think I could be successful at writing a book d) all of the above
3) Listening to Tim and Em's speel on Today's Letters. You should definitly go listen to it NOW! It's super great and challenging and encouraging :)
4) a lovely weekend w/ da Hubs
5) Having a husband who loves, loves, loves me.
6) Finding out that my mother-in-law is reading my blog (Hi Sue!)
7) Going to bed after this post b/c I am worn out!
8) IT MIGHT SNOW THIS WEEK!!
9) Listening to "Drops of Jupiter" and other Train hits in the coche.
10) Waking up every morning, and after ever nap to da Hubs wonderful whisker kisses. This is one of my favorite things EVER (Next to the time he woke me up from a nap by stroking my cheek, to then kiss my cheek and tell me he just wanted to say that he loves me. Seriously. Bottle that up and stick it in the fridge, I want to save it for forever).
11) It's almost Valentine's Day which is tied for my favorite holiday (it always was as a kid...don't worry Christmas shares the title).
12) It's almost my Beloved's birfday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes.
What good is happening in your world?
Oh and...
Goodnight!

Project 365. Day Two-Eighty: Stop Motion...
So, I've seen a string of really cool stop motion music videos lately. Seriously, these are cool. If you don't like stop motion, you should still take a look at these...they're worth it. And, no annoying/creepy clay-mation characters like you'd find in stereotypical stop motion vids!
The first comes from my favorite music group, David Crowder Band. I love me some DCB :) Remember Lite Brites ? I bet you didn't think about doing this when you were 8!
Here's some more info on the video, you won't believe how many Lite Brites and friends it took to make this video!
Emily, over at Today's Letters, introduced me to this jewel. Ok Go + Toast = the best thing since sliced bread (sorry, I couldn't help myself)! Oh, not to mention I'm kind of obessed w/ trees and acorns (the name of the song is "The Last Leaf." Win!).
The last video is by my highschool classmate, Ben Rector...if you've followed the blog then you should be familiar with him.... But, isn't his music good?
So, have you enjoyed your generous portion of talent today?
Good!
Now, I only wish I could eat toast, while playing with a Lite Brite, while listening to Ben Rector :)
Today's Highlights:
1) Getting more info about GETTING MY RING!!!
2) Getting registered!!
3) These sweet vids
4) A highly enjoyable walk w/ my pup and my camera, leaves, acorns, and Kiltie's special birthday leash.
5) Teaching Project DONE
6) Pita Pit w/ da Hubs
And to all, a good night!

Project 365. Days Two-Ninety-Three and Four: English, the Middle kind...
This is what I have to do in class tomorrow morning:
Ok, maybe I don't have to rap (but, how awesome would it be if I did?? REALLY awesome!)...
Anywhoot, I have to recite the first 18 lines of the Prologue to Chaucer's "Canterbury Tales."
Yup.
Oh, and TSwift's new cd came out today (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). Just sayin'.
Today's Highlights:
1) Going to sleep super soon
2) Tomorrow being much closer to being over than it was yesterday. Didja follow that?
3) Humphrey's w/ da Hubs
4) a thoughtful/loving/"you're doing a good job sweetheart" back rub in passing by da Hubs. He makes the difference in my day just by a single touch.
Dear Husband, I love you for moments like that (#4). And, I love that your thoughtfullness is the first thing people notice about you-- so very true. Thank you for your kind heart!

Project 365. Day Two-Forty: I think September means it's fall, but I'm not really sure here...

Well, I don't have as much time to blog tonight as I'd hoped. But, Happy September! Too bad that the beginning of September here in TX doesn't mean the same thing as it did in OK-- y'know, an actual fall w/ changing leaves and cool weather and such.
Anywho, I need to get back to my hot date with Beowulf, and other such FUN things. To the highlights it is !
Today's Highlights:
1) The week is ALMOST over!
2) Yet another fun work-out at the REC...er..."HKC" as the hip kids here call it, with the Miss Brittany M. Today we did Yoga and came to appreciate the Dead Bug/ Happy Baby pose. BAHAHA! Trust me. FUN-E.
3) Camomile...how do you spell that ? Anyways, I had some of THAT hot tea. Mmmm!
4) Welcoming the new PITA PIT to town w/ the Miss Brittany M.
5) Vitamin Water
6) Welcoming da Hubs home with a hug
7) Beowulf
I'm totally lying about that last one. I mean, it's not the worst thing I've ever read but, it's kind of really close...like, it's the BFF of whatever the worst thing is I've ever read.
Bleh.
Celebrate September by watching this though! And watch all 3:09 mins of it! Impressive little doggy! I know PEOPLE that can't dance that well!
Whoop!

Today's Highlights:
1) The Mister's socks
2) AIR CONDITIONING!!!! Yesssssssssssssssssss.

4) A brief, refreshing rainstorm. Our first as Huntsvillians. With bendy, wavy Piney Woods.
P.s. Let's pretend it's YouTube Tuesday, since I'm so good at posting those, so you can enjoy THIS! Somedays, you just can't seem to get it together...
BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
I just watched this atleast a dozen times with Jason. Now, it feels like I've done a bajillion crunches from laughing so hard. Gah, I want to watch it again :)

Project 365. Day One-Ninety-Four: New Header Shake, Shake...
That's why i'm doin' a little dance. New header.
Like it? The picture is courtesy of mi hermano, Adam, cira.... 2003 ? 2004 ? And, it's of the greatest.dog.ever. And, by cira, of course I mean...circa...thank-you da Hubs, that isn't reading over my shoulder at this very moment, your abnormal skill at grammar and punctuation is one of the many reasons why I love you (the irony? he's the math guy and I'm the english person. And he hates writing papers. But, he's way better at proofing stuff than I am. Oh well. Ps. Enjoy all of my punctuation errors in that run-on sentence).
Anywhoot. I love that pictural of mah dawg. It's always been one of my favs. I like Kiltie's exspression--one eye, lazily wondering why her nap was interrupted-- and the fact that she's laying in one of her fav nap spots in our old house (the stairs...which is always fun when trying to leap over her to the next step, only to have her leap after you just as you're hanging over her head, suspended in air).
Good picture, that one by my brother.
And, the fact that it's so good and I'm so tired is the reason that it's my picture for today. Oh, and I haven't taken any pictures today b/c we've been busy packing (barf){Jason gets more points than me in the packing front, I must admit}.
Well, onto the highlights...
Today's Highlights:
1) That Kia--Hamster commercial...the one w/ the rapping hamsters....LOVE it. And, I've probably seen it 3 times in the last 2 hours and it's playing on repeat in my brain. Ah, I love me a good dancin' hamster.
2) "A short nap" that Jason let me take on our packing "break" that then turned into an alledged 3-hour nap. All the cats were holding me down, under the sheets, I was being held captive....
3) Getting some boxes packed (barf-- but it needs to get done).
4) That left-over peach cobb(ler) that I'm about to lay into...
Over and out.

Project 365. Day One-Fifty-Six: Why, thank-you rain! // Say hello to my little friend...
...I hope you read the title in a heavy Godfather accent...
Due to all the rain, and we've had a lot over the last couple days, I met a new friend...

Cool, huh? Kiltie and I watched him for awhile in between frisbee throws :)
Today's Highlights:
1) The PERFECT morning rain storm to doze through
2) The PERFECT morning rainy hue poured in from the window blinds while I did chores
3) Please see photo above
4) SYTYCD top ELEVEN (Exciting but how is that going to work out??)
5) So close to the MN trip!
I know it's not Tuesday but, the weather makes it hard for me to resist posting this clip. I sing this, without fail, everytime it even threatens to rain--one of my favorite episodes from when I was little !
Tut, tut!

Project 365. Day One-Forty-Two: Yummy, yummy!...
This was our dinner:

It was YUMMY! Jason spruced it up with a little merlot and some of our own spices, and put a little tomato paste in there to thicken it up. Mmmm!
We've been trying to cook at home a lot more lately and I'm proud to say that over the last week, I've cooked atleast 5 homemade dinners and lunches in a row, maybe even a couple more. Whoo, whoo!
We've had things like meatloaf, potroast, speghetti, and pork chops!
It's been fun planning meals and preparing them for Jason, and the additional time I've spent in the kitchen outside of the norm has actually done a thing or two for my own self-confidence. :)
3 cheers for more future homemade meals!
Today's Highlight's:
1) Not sick anymore, just tired!
2) Jason's dinner, mmmhm!
3) Mario Kart Date Party w/ da Love
4) A couple new delightful playlists made for my ears to be greeted with
5) Planning meals and getting to know my recipe box :)
And man oh man have I been slacking with YouTube Tuesday's or what ?
Sorry!
Here ya go! I think this is a really sweet commercial :)

...(at least when I think of my final tomorrow), this face ensues...

Summer vay-cay starts tomorrow after my final at 3:15pm (well, atleast until summer school in July). Ahhhh :)
Happy YouTube Tuesday !
Last week you saw a clip that reminded us of D.C., today you get to see one that reminds us of Ridley. Enjoy!
Back to history!

Project 365. Day One-Twenty-Two: Yay! Today is Over!...
...I laughed at myself earlier today upon thinking of the proclamation but, I can't be more glad that I'm on the bottom half of the day.
Dance Choreographer Project done. Check.
Extra Credit papers turned in. Check.
Last real day of school before finals done. Check.
Do whatever seems relaxing. Check.
To celebrate, Jason and I went to dinner, spent too much at the pet store (oops), watched Dogs 101, and were given a good laugh by the cats (always a good excuse for a pet picture, right?) :).

Happy Youtube Wednesday--?--(sorry I keep dropping the ball)!

Project 365. Day One-Oh-Nine: Dance Pance (I need to do stuff)...

I need to do stuff....like....
1)spruce up the blog
2)rock the last 2 1/2 weeks of school
3)clean
4)organize
5)get rid of stuff
6)papers,projects,finals
7)soak up ASC
8)check things off list(s)
9)
10)
11)
12)
13)
I could fill a list a mile long. Lots is happening but, it's all good.
One day at a time--windows down, music playing, lots of hugs and coffee shops-- one day at a time.
One project on my list is for my dance class, each group has to choreograph a dance to perform in front of the class as part of the final. I was video taping our practice today when I accidently took a picture of one of the girls in the group, whoops. Thus, Project 365, Day 109.
Speaking of dance class, I had my sit-up's skills test today which, I'm proud to say, I got 100% on. That's 50 crunches in 1 minute. It's okay, I'm allowed to brag b/c I totally didn't expect to get 100%. I celebrated by eating a nice carby meal for dinner haha.
Jason and I finally have gotten an evening to do absolutely nothing except relax. We had dinner and watched Remember the Titans, and now we're watching Everybody Loves Raymond.
Welp, commercial is over!Back to relaxing w/ da Hubs!
P.s. I've dropped the ball on Youtube Tuesday a couple times now so, here ya go!

Project 365. DAY ONE HUNDRED!!!
...And a hundred year old dinosaur...
Okay, so she's much older than a hundred but, whatever. Her name is Sue and she's famous and really interesting. Read more about her here.

It's been a hundred days since I started the blog, hooray! It hasn't been easy; there have been a lot of days when I haven't wanted to blog but here I am, day one hundred.
Unfortunately, I had no idea what to blog (a hundred pictures ? Uh, no thanks. a hundred pictures of pets? That's basically every day. A list of a hundred _____ ? That takes too long. Dinosaur? Okay.)
But, here's an extra youtube clip for the week!
265 days to go to reach my goal !

Project 365. Day Eighty-Seven: I have a gorilla in my room...
"I think school is like a gorilla sitting in the corner of your room going 'blaaaah!'"
-- Katie Wilson
So, I have a gorilla in my room. And, at Tuesdays @ Two, Katie W. and I decided that our gorillas were following us around, possibly infected with fleas and possibly visiting eachother. They're busy gorillas.
Observe:

Tuesdays @ Two + Katie W/M = anti-gorilla activists.
Groups. Rallies. T-shirts...
The future is ours!
Whoa. That was close. I was just about to publish this post, when I realized that I'd forgotten about Youtube Tuesday...again.
Happy Youtube Tuesday!
...There. Now, I have to get back to studying for my history test that I have tomorrow.

Project 365. Day Eighty-Two: Yum, Yum!
I enjoy food. Nay, I love food. I especially love home-cooked food. It doesn't matter what the dish may by, it's always best home-made. So, why not post about some personal kitchen delights ?
1) While visiting my brother David over the weekend, he woke me up one morning with freshly made breakfast. What a great way to wake up, to the smell of eggs and bacon! It was delicious and much appreciated!

2) The other night, Jason and I made homemade "spirals" as I call them (traditionally called Braciole, and pronounced "Bra-ja-ol"). We love this recipe, it's quite tasty I must say :) As we watched an episode of Everybody Loves Raymond and ate the leftovers the following night, we realized that our spirals were really Braciole. We discovered this because the episode centered around Debra cooking a Braciole dish. It wasn't until I heard the characters on the show pronounce the dish's name as "Bra-ja-ol" that I realized I'd always called it "Brak-i-ol," and assumed the dishes were completely different. Ha! So, I guess I'm a fancier cook than I thought :) Watch out Julia Childs!
P.s. We served the Braciole with homemade garlic potatos, bread and homemade garlic butter! MMM!

...And I dropped the ball on Youtube Tuesday. Sorry. This commerical cracks me up though!
